稍早傳來當代傳奇建築師貝聿銘的家人証實他於星期四在紐約的寓所離世，又一位深深影響現代設計發展的建築師離開我們，消息一傳出讓許多人都無法接受。
從香港人熟悉不過的中銀大廈、羅浮宮旁的金字塔、華盛頓國家美術館東翼大樓到台灣東海大學路思義教堂，被譽為「現代主義建築最後大師」的貝聿銘，作品遍佈全球，不只為現代設計帶來不同的思考，他融入東西方元素的詩意作品也成了許多人旅行必定造訪的地標。
