《Guardians of the Galaxy》的導演 James Gunn 是受 Marvel 演員們景仰的「鬼才」。他才華洋溢且敬業，不僅是兩部續集的編劇加導演，許多演員做不來的CG動畫的動作和配音他也親自演出。
然而就在幾周前，Twitter上開始瘋傳 James Gunn 約10年前在Twitter上發表的言論，是三則暗喻「戀童癖」的嚴重玩笑。這讓 Disney 收到消息後第一時間解雇了 James Gunn，原因是他的價值觀與言論與 Disney 的中心思想不符合，雖然《Guardians of the Galaxy》主角 Chris Pratt、Zoe Saldana 也在第一時間想方設法挽回局面，至今卻仍徒勞無功。

Chris Pratt 引用聖經的話語，呼籲影迷試著傾聽，不要執迷於憤怒。Zoe Saldana 則說她深愛《Guardians of the Galaxy》的「每一份子」。而飾演 Drax 的 Dave Bautista 直接怒言這很「不OK」，如果 James Gunn 真的被永久解雇了他一定拒演續集。

可想而知，James Gunn 的性格和為人，在所有人眼中的評價甚高。儘管一些網民開始慎重思考，或許不應該因為10年前的過錯而阻斷一個人後半生的生活與夢想，但大部分的網民卻依然認為，戀童癖是多麼嚴重的違法行為，怎麼可以當作玩笑話？甚至尋求諒解？
近日驚傳 DC 正私下聯繫 James Gunn，希望他能藉此機會跳槽。眼睜睜看著這位認真的鬼才導演即將被挖角，Marvel Studios 終於出聲了——Marvel 表示如今正與 Disney 討論、協議，事情未果，而影迷們最擔心的便是《Guardians of the Galaxy》第三部續集將無限期拖延，甚至無疾而終。
James Gunn 至今也持續在 Twitter上表示，自己願意承擔過去的錯誤，但希望大家能諒解，他過去說過的話並不代表他如今是怎麼樣的一個人。
一個人是否應當以這樣的形式，承擔10年前的錯誤並尋求諒解？這不是能輕易回答的問題，正一次次考驗著所有人的道德與價值觀。
