美國 23 歲的樂壇小天后 Ariana Grande，早前於英國 Manchester Arena（曼徹斯特體育館）舉行個人巡迴演唱會時，驚傳爆炸攻擊。根據國外警方證實至少 19 死 50 傷，第一時間 Ariana Grande 已向所有粉絲報平安，得知歌迷因為她而受傷她倍感心碎。

還未從驚嚇中恢復平靜，Ariana Grande 仍選擇在 Twitter 上難過留下：「徹底心碎了！打從心裡對此事感到非常抱歉，我無話可說…」，讓大批粉絲送上關心安慰。

《Reuters》引述了美國官員的內容，表示：「疑為一名自殺炸彈客發動攻擊，若確認為恐怖攻擊，將是 2005 年以來傷亡最慘重的攻擊事件。」另外，英國首相 Theresa May（梅伊）也發表聲明，將視這起爆炸事件為恐怖攻擊偵辦，同時向受害者和家屬致意。

然而，這起不幸事件隨即引起國內外網友的注意，紛紛於社群平台上留言哀悼。此外，公眾人物、歌手明星也均透過推文表達傷痛，當中，已經有四個多月沒有使用 Twitter 的 Taylor Swift，也罕見地透過社群平台寫下：「今晚 Manchester 悲劇事件深深重創了我的心靈，在淚水中我傳遞所有我的愛，祝褔所有罹難者。」
