Cash or Plastic？學會這些餐廳英語常用對話，讓你出國吃飯不再支吾尷尬

前陣子和朋友聊到出國最尷尬的事情，友人說每次在國外只要到餐廳吃飯心裡總會有點壓力。他英語能力不錯，只是平常沒有英語環境可以練習，所以到了緊要關頭總是支支吾吾說不出口。以下幾個餐廳常用英語句，平常自己多唸多練習個幾遍，相信就能有點印象，以後出國吃飯點餐不再尷尬：

 

 

Arriving at the Restaurant
抵達餐廳

 

抵達餐廳，如果你有事先訂位，就可以跟前台說：

1. Hello, we’ve booked a table for three people.（Hello, 我們訂了三個人的位置）
2. I booked a table for three for 7pm under the name of Emily Chen.（我訂了 7 點三個人的位置，名字是 Emily Chen。）
3.  We have a dinner reservation for two at 7:30.（我們訂了兩了人 7:30 晚餐的位置。）
4.  Our reservation is under the name of Emily Chen at 7:30 for two people.（我們的訂位名字是 Emily Chen，7:30 兩個人。）

 

如果沒訂位的話，就用其他說法：

1. A table for two, please.（兩個人，謝謝。）
2. Hello, do you have a table free?（你好，請問有位置嗎？）
3. Do you have a table for three free?（你們有三個人的位置嗎？）
4. Hello, we haven’t booked a table, can you fit us in?（你好，我們沒訂位，可以幫我們安排位置嗎？）

 

而服務生的回答可能是以下幾句：

1. Of course. Please come this way.（當然。請從這邊走。）
2. Your table isn’t ready yet.（你的桌子還沒準備好。）
3. We’re fully booked at the moment, can you come back a bit later?（我們目前客滿，可以請你晚點再來嗎？）

 

 

點餐

Ordering

 

找到座位後，接下來是點餐。以下是幾句點餐時常用的句子：

1. Could you bring us the menu, please?（可以請你給我們 menu 嗎？）
2. Do you have a set menu?（你們有套餐 menu 嗎？）
3. Could you bring us the salt/ pepper/ ketchup/ vinegar/ Tabasco, please?（可以請你給我們一些鹽巴 / 黑胡椒 / 醋 / Tabasco 嗎？
4. May I have some water, please?（請問可以給我一點水嗎？）
5. We would like to order now, please.（我想要點菜了。）
6. I’ll have the soup as a starter.（我前菜要點湯。）
7. I’ll have the steak for the main course.（我主菜要點牛排。）
8. Is this dish suitable for vegetarians/ vegans?（這道菜素食者 / 純素者可以吃嗎？）
9. Does this dish contain nuts?（這道菜裡有堅果嗎？）
10. We’re not ready to order yet. Could you give us a few more minutes, please?”（我們還沒準備好點餐。可以請再給我們幾分鐘嗎？）
11. What do you recommend?（你們推薦什麼呢？）
12. Does this have any seafood in it?（這裡面有海鮮嗎？）
13. What is in this chicken dish?（這道雞肉料理裡有什麼？）

 

點餐的時候，服務生常見的問話：

1. Can I take your order?（可以點餐了嗎？）
2. Are you ready to order?（準備好點餐了嗎？）
3. What would you like for a starter?（前菜要點什麼呢？）
4. Anything to drink?（要喝點什麼嗎？）
5. How would you like your steak?（牛排要幾分熟呢？）
6. What would you like for dessert?（甜點要吃些什麼呢？）
7. Would you like any wine with that?（想要搭配什麼紅酒嗎？）
8. Can I get you anything else?（還要什麼別的嗎？）
9. Do you want vegetables with it?（要搭配蔬菜嗎？）

 

 

Dealing with Problems

處理問題

 

服務生送錯菜、餐具不乾淨、食物沒煮熟，請這樣反應：

1. This isn’t what I ordered.（這不是我點的。）
2. Excuse me, I didn’t order this.（不好意思，我沒有點這個。）
3. Could I have another spoon, please?（可以給我另外一支湯匙嗎？）
4. I'm sorry, but this is cold.（不好意思，這是冷的。）
5. Can I change my order please?（我可以改點別的東西嗎？）
6. This is uncooked.（這沒有煮熟。）

 

而服務生可能如下回答：

1. I’m so sorry, let me take it back for you.（對不起，讓我把這送回去。）
2. Let me change it for you.（我幫你換。）
3. I'm so sorry. I’ll change it for you straightaway.（對不起，我馬上幫你換。）

 

 

Getting the Bill / Check

結帳

 

酒足飯飽後準備結帳，請用以下幾句：

1. Can I have the check, please? / Could we get the bill?（可以給我 / 我們帳單嗎？）
2. Do you accept credit cards?（可以刷卡嗎？）
3. Keep the change.（零錢不用找。）
4. Can we have separate checks?（可以給我們分開的帳單嗎？）
5. We’re going to split the bill.（我們要分開付。）
6. Could you check the bill for me, please? It doesn’t seem right.（可以請你幫我看一下帳單嗎？好像不太對。）
7. I think you have made a mistake with the bill.（你帳單好像弄錯了什麼。）

 

而結帳人員可能會說以下幾句話：

1. How would you like to pay？（要怎麼支付呢？）
2. Cash or card? / Cash or plastic?（現金還是信用卡？）
3. That will be 80 dollars, please.（這樣是 80 元）
4. Thank you. Here’s your change and your receipt.（謝謝，這裡是您的找錢和收據。）
