相隔四年，流行天后 Katy Perry 終於帶著全新專輯《Witness》再次回歸歌壇。繼日前她首度公開和昔日好姐妹 Taylor Swift 不合的衝突故事後，近期她接受媒體專訪時也再次談起這起事件，除了不後悔當初發表的個人言論，更吐露更多深藏已久的內在心聲。

Katy Perry 向《NME》表示：「說真的，我不是佛祖，我還是會被很多事情激怒，我當然也希望自己每次在受到傷害後也能容忍，不予還擊、一笑置之，我就不是那樣子的人啊！尤其是當有人試圖靠著小女孩們（意指 Taylor Swift 歌迷）來刺殺我人格的時候，這真是太混亂了！」
Katy Perry 接著說道：「我很感謝主持人 James Corden 當時向我提起這個問題，在那之前沒有人願意聽我這一邊的版本，每一個故事都有代表著三種面向，一是自己、二是他人、三是真相。」，這也是 Katy Perry 此刻想和 Taylor Swift 恢復聯繫的原因，釐清整起故事、化解所有糾紛。
