睽違 5 年，熱銷全球的《Harry Potter》原著小說作者 J.K. Rowling，帶著全新番外作品《Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them》回歸，不僅讓哈迷從回奇幻的魔法世界，更多磅礡的視覺饗宴也正式啟程。
由影帝 Eddie Redmayne 出演，延續《Harry Potter》導演 David Yates，演出陣容包括： Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Ron Perlman, Alison Sudol…等，現身最新電影作品中。
首支前導視頻，片頭便以經典的照亮咒語「Lumos Maxima」延續《Harry Potter》的魔法語言，不到兩分鐘的影片吊足所有影迷的胃口。David Yates 表示，該片的呈現方式接近 Mike Newell 執導的《Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire》，並且融入更多情感與黑暗的一面。

《Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them》題材源自於霍格華茲魔法學院的同名教科書，場景設定在 Harry Potter 出現的 70 年前，以該書 Newt Scamander 作為主角，描述他在紐約遇見的神秘女魔法師與魔法社區所歷經的奇幻冒險故事。預計 2016 年 11 月 18 日於英、美國同步上映。
